OK,
I'm gonna try something a bit risky...I'm going to post some of my very raw comedy(As in not completely written).
#1 - OK, so anyway while i was hanging out with a very good friend of mine at a store we got bored. So we decided to leave and as we were walking out my friend said to the sales clerk "have a nice night", and the guy responded "take it easy". Right as he was saying, "take it easy", i was saying the same thing like almost at the same time. So it didn't come out all the way. It was like "tak..ahem", and i walked out the door.
#2 - As i was driving by a "do not stop on railroad" sign one night, i said to myself, wow that is a very important sign. Then i began to think...wow i drive down this road all the time but I've never headed this signs warnings. Then i realized it had to do with the fact that the only time i usually drive down that road is around rush hour. Which led me to realize that my only thought while on a road during rush hour is "if i don't make this light I'm gonna murder everyone here".
#3 - When i was walking outside first stated shop, i saw an army recruiting station right next to a marine recruiting station, and my first thought was ...i wonder if they pull pranks on each other. Like if they move around the letters on their signs.
So that is a little bit of comedy i came up with randomly and it is the first time ive written on it. So please don't judge too harshly but constructive (keyword:constructive) criticism is good. Thanks for reading

While I wasn't rolling on the floor with tears coming out of my eyes, I have to admit, all three of those made me laugh... it's good stuff!! The rest of it will come with delivery, I'm sure... but you've definitely got some good stuff there! Made me laugh!! :) Especially the sign one... oh man did I laugh at that!
ReplyDeleteI know how risky it is to throw your material out there... I once aspired to be a comedian, but lacked the talent and discipline to make it... I did, however, try my hand at writing material, and I still have some of it somewhere... good luck in your endeavors!! :)
(And yes, it was crazy to make a show about Halo... but it's quite good. XD)
thanks i have a journal but i keep leaving it in my car over night so i haven't gotten a chance to post any of my "actually" written material
