I've actually been really busy trying to form my act up for a comedy gig and i just did it. It went surprisingly well. I will have a new review up as soon as possible (most likely Jeff Dunham)

ReplyDeleteWell done on popping your stand up cherry. I hope they were gentle with you. You talk about perfecting the joke. But remember, the joke is just the format - the box you present yourself in - not the be all and end all. Steven Wirght has great jokes, but after ten minutes you want to punch him. You could listen to Christ Rock all night. Check out two UK acts who use the format to tell a truth: Daniel Kitson and Johnny Vegas. And have a great second gig.
